How to Think Like da Vinci (for kids)

Inspired by the book, How to Think like Leonardo da Vinci  by Michael J. Gelb, we will learn about 7 principles da Vinci used that express his genius and how we can use them too. 

This class will meet online at 11AM and at 1PM with a lunch break from 12-1PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, and 25. During the morning session we will focus on discussion and activities related to the principle of the day. In the afternoon sessions there will be a dissection lab, art projects, cooking, movement and building challenges, and various other activities that provide a hands-on extension for the seven principles. Ideal for ages 8 and up but flexible on ages if you think it's a good fit for your kiddo.

The cost is $80 per genius. If things change and we can meet in person, we can adjust the timing/cost to reflect the standard $5 per hour. There will be a kit of supplies provided that will need to be picked up the at the classroom Monday, June 1st between 10:00-3:00 or if that doesn't work, please make other arrangements with me. You will also need to shop for ingredients for our cooking activity where we experiment with making Leonardo's favorite lunch. Recipes/ingredient lists will be in supply kit or I can email to you before then. The cooking lab will be on June 9th.
