How to Think Like da Vinci (for kids)

Inspired by the book, How to Think like Leonardo da Vinci  by Michael J. Gelb, we will learn about 7 principles da Vinci used that express his genius and how we can use them too. 

This class will meet online from 10 AM to 12PM with a snack/prep break sometime in the middle, Mondays and Wednesdays July  6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, and 29. For the first part of each session we will focus on discussion and activities related to the principle of the day. After a snack/prep break we will do our "lab" for the day- there will be a dissection lab, art projects, cooking, games, movement and building challenges, and various other activities that provide a hands-on extension for the seven principles. Ideal for ages 8 and up but flexible on ages if you think it's a good fit for your kiddo.

The cost is $90 per genius for the 8 sessions, basically $10 a session and $10 goes toward supplies for the kit.  The kit of supplies will need to be picked up the at the classroom  You will also need to shop for ingredients for our cooking activity where we experiment with making Leonardo's favorite lunch. Parental support will be required depending on age and needs of your kiddo.Recipes/ingredient lists will be in the notebook or I can email to you before then. The cooking lab will be on July 13.
