Nick and Tesla's High Voltage Danger Lab

Join us for some summer mystery reading with a science twist! For this session, we'll be reading Book 1 of this Nick and Tesla series, Nick and Tesla's High Voltage Danger Lab: A Mystery with Electromagnets, Burglar Alarms, and other Gadgets You Can Build Yourself. Participants will read the book on their own and then come to the classroom discuss the book and to build and experiment with some of the gadgets presented in the book. Please obtain your own copy of the copy as soon as you can so you can start reading :)

This class will be primarily OUTSIDE with as much participant spacing as possible. Bringing a mask is encouraged in case some things would be easier to do inside. We will have a long lunch break and plenty of free play time, so bring a lunch, full waterbottle, snack/drinks, clothes that can get wet if they choose to play with water, towel, sunscreen, hat, anything else you need to survive outside in Nevada in July. 

Cost is $20 for the 4 hour session. This same session repeats July 16th to accommotate more people who might want to participate since our in person classes will be limited to 12 students. So you only need to sign up for one session for each book depending on your schedule.
